Choose Happy!

I just love the shirts that my granddaughter (left) and my daughter (right) have on in this picture!

“CHOOSE and Be Happy!” Wow! I think these shirts are awesome. One of my favorite resources that I both go to often and recommend to people often, is from Bonnie Ware’s Book about the top five regrets of the dying. You can see an article with reference to the top 5 regrets here: Article on Bonnie’s Wares Top Five Regrets of the Dying

With a new year coming, why not decide that 2019 is going to be the year you opt in for choosing happiness? We make choices in every second, every minute and every hour of our day. Choose Happiness I say! Life is so much easier and much more fun this way. Imagine waiting until your death bed or last breath to realize it was a CHOICE. Choose NOW! πŸ™‚ And remember Happiness is like a muscle, the more you use it, the bigger it gets! And that’s a good thing. πŸ™‚

Decorate Your Life With JOY!

life is a ceremony

This was the start of my beautiful morning. Warm lemon water in a pretty cup, some meditation today (not all days), and then a short yoga session which focused today on appreciating the feet and knees.

Lately I have been ceremoniously enjoying my things and experiences and tying them together. For example when I prepare my morning celery juice I offer it up, pre-juicer, on a nice elongated white plate. There is something extra special doing it that way verses grabbing the celery from the sink and stuffing it in the juicer. πŸ™‚

Here, in this picture, I enjoy my lemon water in a pretty tea cup along with my new favorite lemon water carafe. I find the more special and ceremonious I make my experiences, the deeper I appreciate them. They become sacred in fact.

A client just messaged me about how to prepare lemon water and I mentioned to her that I enjoy slicing my lemons thinly in the cup because it is like a whole bunch of sunshine in my cup. It truly makes me smile to see it. That is an example of infusing more JOY. I like to call all of this “Decorating Your Day with JOY”. πŸ™‚

Update: my client just sent me this! How wonderful!

I hope you too find ways to infuse more JOY into your day and enjoy the little things that you do for you health consistently because they truly do become the BIG things. All things done with JOY are enhanced and extra special too. πŸ™‚

Fun Friday! Lighten up!

getyourhappyon

Whenever I look at this picture from years ago it makes me smile. Here is my kid wearing a lampshade. I don’t remember why it was in the vehicle but we were obviously transporting it somewhere and she put it on her head.

It is moments like these that remind me to ‘lighten up’ pun intended. πŸ™‚ We take life way too seriously!!! Once of the best things we can do is to laugh more. In fact we should be laughing as much as we can. It’s good for the body, mind and soul.

Have you ever been around those kind of people who always have a smile on their face or the ones who laugh from their belly? Or better yet, the ones who jiggle all over when they laugh. They are the best! We as souls, crave laughter and joy. It’s our birth rightΒ in fact πŸ™‚ and we need to be reminded of this and do more of it.

Today, being Friday, a day that people tend to view as one of the better days of the week for this vibe, I encourage each and every one of us to add a little more fun and lightheartedness into our day. It is so so so so therapeutic and it helps every single person around us too! So if we don’t do it for ourselves, let’s do it for the Team. πŸ™‚

Laugh your whatever off… just DO IT! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Here is a picture my daughter made of me laughing… yep this is what I look like!
