Tap Into Your SUPERPOWERS!

You are stronger than you think and you are bigger and better than you realize.

I am person who studies every day upon arising and throughout the day as well. I love learning about the power of our sub-conscious and super-conscious mind. Unfortunately most people let their conscious mind run the show.

The secret to having more in life and allowing in Infinite Possibilities is by using and tapping into controlling and commanding the other minds that we all have access to. These are powerful tools for us to use. They are your SUPER POWERS.

For example if you go to bed at night reflecting on how rotten your day was and dreading tomorrow, guess what happens? Your sub-conscious mind toils all night long in preparation for tomorrow to bring you exactly what it thinks you want because you declared it! And then you wonder why things just keep getting worse.

The sub-conscious mind does not have any reality. It is merely a force, a source, a powerful command center that takes orders from YOU!

I will highlight a few key points to help with using this superpower.

Thoughts are things. Use them wisely. Monitor your thoughts and CHOOSE your thoughts. Choose thoughts that support your current plan or intention. For example: Writing blog posts comes easily to me and I enJOY writing immensely. (Supportive Thought)

Check in on what you BELIEVE. Question your beliefs. Do they serve you? Are they supportive beliefs? Or do they limit you in your life? Where did they come from? Does it really matter where they came from? How about you just work on replacing them with ones that DO serve you for your highest good? If you need help with that, you might consider Life Coaching or attending an Infinite Possibilities class where we spend an entire class working on Beliefs.

Belief example: I may not have all the answers or knowledge for this project right now but I am sure I can find them and things will go smoothly. I believe I am capable of learning. (Supportive Belief)

Visualization. Become a master visualizer. Wayne Dyer wrote a whole book on this and the title says it all. “Seeing Is Believing”. Until you ‘see’ something, you will never believe it or realize it …. aka ‘make it real’. See yourself exactly how you wish to be, or be surrounded by, travelling to, living in, etc. Here is the KEY for this one. You must FEEL what it would feel like in every one of those scenarios that you visualize. There lies the magic!

Take a good look at this picture. Use it as a visual imagery to picture the inner ball as your sub-conscious and super-conscious mind as the command center and the outside halos as your creations and manifestations. Keep in mind that the more you visualize the stronger the magnet becomes and the thicker and denser the result is. This is why we want a vortex of positive results spiraling in our creative vortex. May the force be with you. 🙂

Joy in Your Work

Who doesn’t want more JOY in their life? How about in your work? I struggle with the word ‘work’ and I think I know why…..

It’s because of a secret. The sooner one understands and learns this secret, the sooner JOY unfolds. What is this secret? The secret is that once you discover what you are passionate about and you pursue that, whatever you do around that passion will infuse more JOY into your life and work and you will no longer think of your work as ‘work’. It will now be your passion and your purpose.

When you are talking about a subject and your eyes literally light up and you become more animated. This may sound too simple to be true, but it is very true. As a Life Coach for many years, I have seen this exact display of passion and purpose in the eyes of many and it always is a direct hit to what a person is passionate about.

A Note to My Younger Self

Here I am at 53 years old and I have had many life’s experiences and I look forward to many more. Life has a way of softening you as you go along. Or maybe hardening for some but for me I feel softer. I sure am not the woman I was 10, 20 or even 30 years ago and I’m glad. 🙂

If I could write a note to my younger self, and I can, lol this is what I would say:

Dear Maggie

I remember when you were a younger version of yourself and although you lacked confidence throughout many times of your life, there were times when you thought you knew it all. It is interesting for me to see this as I now know how little you knew. 🙂

Some tips I could offer the younger version of you would be:

  1. Be Kind. The world needs more kindness and compassion. Especially be kind to those who have been around in life longer than you have. They have had more time to experiences life’s up and downs. They have had more hurts, heartaches and loss and it wears on a person. These people need extra kindness and less animosity and judgment. Be kind.
  2. Be Gentle. “A gentle word, a kind look, a good-natured smile can work wonders and accomplish miracles”. William Hazlitt Being gentle is a virtue worth living by. Gentleness is a form of love expressed that softens, that opens, and that shows compassion. Practice gentleness on a daily basis.
  3. Let It Go. Let go of all of those ideals that do not serve you. Especially the need to be right and to know it all. Instead be open. Be inquisitive and be willing to listen, to really listen.
  4. Don’t Personalize Things! If you really want a fast track to peace, don’t personalize anything. You have no idea what another person is going through, a stranger or kin. Just love them within your heart and mind. So many heartaches have come from people assuming things were said for a certain reason or intended to hurt you. Just let that stuff go. It matters not. Know in your heart that you are okay and that are made of love and will return to love. You have been the one hurt and you have hurt others. Let it all go and turn to Love. And remember when people hurt you, they need extra love. Anyone who is in that much pain that they would hurt others needs more love. You know you’ve been there. 🙂 Stop the madness now.
  5. Forgive. Forgive often and forgive quickly. The sooner you forgive others and yourself the sooner you give the gift. The gift of for*give*ness. Give it often. “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you” Lewis B. Smedes … Free yourself sooner than later. 🙂
  6. Be YOU. Don’t wait your entire lifetime to be YOU. Your job is to be you. You were born perfectly YOU for a reason. 🙂 YOU are the gift to the world. Let that gift be opened and shared with the world. Lead by example. Show the way for others and encourage them to be themselves and to wear their uniqueness like the jewel that it is.

Well dearest little one, I could say more but I think this is suffice for this blog post today. Go now and be that best version of YOU that you are learning to share with the world so freely. I hope others are inspired to be themselves and that they go throughout their day today in JOY and Love. Blessings to all…

Leaks in Your Self-Talk

Watch for leaks in your self-talk. Take a listen and see if you hear yourself using words like “I think”, “Just”, “I’ll try” “Maybe”, or “I’m sorry” way too often. Although all words have places in our vocabulary and in our daily conversations, sometimes people develop a habit of over using self sabotaging words or statements.

This is especially important to be careful of when dealing with universal laws. When we are wish washy or we are not being clear or direct with our messages, we get results that are wishy-washy and unclear.

For example, if you start most sentences with “I think” as in “I think I am happy”, or “I think I like my job”, or “I think I might like to go on a vacation”, you are being very uncertain and that is what you put out there! One of the keys to manifesting and creating is to be clear and concise. Even if you are unsure of how something might happen, you need to be clear with your intent!

How about this instead? “I love my job!” verses “I think I like my job”. You may not entirely believe this but by declaring it, you will start to love it and be happier and have less stress and more satisfaction etc. This works for anything. What you say and declare you bring about. It’s that simple. Words are more powerful than people realize.

Recently I attended a writing workshop about the power of ‘one’ word. It WAS powerful to see this. One word can make a huge difference. Think of this an ’empty’ room or a ‘spacious’ room? Let that sink in. Huge difference. Now imagine statements and strings of words put together. They can have huge impact.

So in conclusion, I encourage you to choose your words wisely and choose words that are empowering to your self esteem and to your mission or goal. Own your words. My favorite new saying lately is “Not only have I found my voice, but I am owning it”. 🙂 I think this is very applicable in this scenario of creating, manifesting and bringing more clarity into our lives.

Own Your Magic Button!

When it comes to people affecting our moods, we have more control than we think. In fact, we’ve got the magic. We truly do. It’s all about learning how to harness the power also known as our personal power.

Here is a quote I like from Esther Hicks.

“When it feels to you as if someone is pushing your button, realize that you are the one with a great big button out there that is just begging to be pushed. If you don’t put it out there, no one will push it.”

Let that one sink in! Imagine you are walking around with this big button on your heart that is saying “Push me, push me, and I will react”. It is VERY empowering to know and own the fact that NO-ONE can push our buttons or offend us or anything else, unless we choose to be offended, hurt, etc. We have personal power and responsibility when it comes to these situations.

Sure it’s not easy at times and no-one deserves to be downright abused, but in life and in my coaching practice, I have seen a lot of people suffer needlessly because they have chosen to wear that button and wear it proudly :-). I personally choose to suffer the least amount possible in my life, so I actively keep that big ol push button tucked away and try not to display or use it. There is a saying I have liked for all of my adult life “What other people think of me, is none of my business”. This has helped me to better react in the challenging situations.

I really believe that the first step to change is to actively acknowledge and become consciously aware of how we react and respond to things and outside stimulus provided to us in the game of life. The better we master our reactions, the less we suffer. Sounds good to me. What about you? 🙂

3 Questions to Ask Yourself this Week

On fueling your body:

When putting food and drinks into your mouth, always ask the question “Is this feeding, fueling or healing my body?” If the answer is “No”, re-choose and think again.  The first step to making change is to question your actions. Are my actions serving me or causing me harm?

On listening  to your Body, Mind & Soul

Don’t assume that you are hungry for example. Use the HALT formula. Am I Hungry, Angry, Lonely or maybe even Tired? Often times we try to satiate our feelings by stuffing them down with food, drinks, cigarettes and other substances when that is not what our body or soul is looking for or needs! Ask questions and go within. Maybe you need a 5 minute power nap or decompression from a stressful situation. Even slipping off alone into the bathroom or another room and just focusing on your breathing can help to calm your para-sympathetic nervous system.

Does this bring me Joy?

No matter what you are doing, ask yourself does this person, place, food, event, book, or even a blog post 😊, bring me Joy or serve me for my highest good? Does it make me feel good? Does it enhance my life? Do I feel better or enlightened in a positive way after reading it? If Yes, full speed ahead. Learn to question everything you do to see if it is indeed serving you for the highest and best good. After awhile you will no longer need to question these things as they will become automatic. You will become proficient at making choices that have your best interest in mind.

By implementing some simple questioning, you can really get in tune with what is both healthy for you and what is important for you. Think of questioning as fine tuning and honing in on your well-being and most of all, have fun with it! 😊

What is the Most Powerful App Ever????

Are you a member of a loyalty rewards program? Most of us are. These programs are geared toward giving us incentives to shop and also to reward us in ways that are relevant to our shopping needs, wants, and desires. Brands want to provide great customer service so that customers will continue subscribing or purchasing their brand.

These loyalty programs are often run through an application aka an App, and can track your purchases, spending, time of spending, but most of all they track WHAT YOU WANT! They can track what we want because it knows what we want.

Want to know something even more exciting than loyalty rewards programs for products?

We really need to remember and realize that this internal program is running for us 24/7, 365 days a year and it never sleeps even if we are sleeping.  This is huge. Just like when we sleep and wake up the next day and check our app for the grocery store on our phones, and we see the new offers available, our sub-conscious mind and the universe is bringing to us those things that we have put out there as desires.

Most people are doing this without even realizing it and they are wondering why their life is not working or why the same types of circumstances keep happening to them.  Think of it this way if you keep buying lemons, the app will keep offering deals on lemons.

Wise people learn how to be very clear in their desires and to be consistent in what they put out there.  The very cool factor is that our sub-conscious minds are always working for us and are always wanting to please us, especially when it knows clearly what we desire. 🙂

Miraculous Meditation!!!

We all mediate whether we realize it or not. Every time we think of something, focus on something, or dwell on something, we are meditating!

Mediation comes from the Latin root “med” which means “to measure”. This is the same root that forms the word medicine! So, when we mediate we are actually performing a miraculous act. The question becomes what is the best form of meditation that ultimately serves us in the highest way?

Put simply we become what we think about. Meditation of any sort has the ability to transform and to heal as does medicine. Whether we are walking and thinking, reflecting while washing our dishes in the sink, or sitting cross legged with palms up and chanting, we are meditating! 🙂

No matter which form I take, I am very proactive at using my thoughts for my highest good. In fact, I have coined a phrase “I control my thoughts, they don’t control me!” This has served me well and I am very conscious and aware of the thoughts that I am thinking at all times.

We are powerful, powerful creators and we really do have the power. 😊 Let us use it wisely.

A Friend in Need

“A friend is someone who is there for you when he’d rather be anywhere else”. Len Wein

This quote made me reflect on how wonderful it is in life to have support and how having a friend when you need one is so comforting. Then I got to thinking what about us? Are we there for ourselves when we need us to be? Do we treat ourselves like a best friend would or could? Or are we wanting to be anywhere else then loving, helping, and supporting ourselves?

Often times we understand the importance of caring for others but when it comes to ourselves it is not as easy.

What if we looked at ourselves as our own best friends? What if we encouraged ourselves and supported ourselves by seeing ourselves as our own best friend?

To my best friend, Me, I love you, I support you, I encourage you and you need to know that I will be here for you always. 😊 I may not always make the best choices but I will always hold you in the Love and Light that I know you are.

To all the best friends out there may you be the best you can be to your ME!

Big Leaps

Sometimes in life we have to take big leaps or make big decisions. Maybe it’s a decision regarding taking charge of our health, or ending a relationship, or moving from a place we’ve been at for a long time.

Change is never easy but neither is suffering. Sometimes it helps to understand that the pain of staying where we are, might be greater than where we leap to.
I find things work much easier if I reflect on where I am going to, rather thank looking back at what is or where I am.

Focus on the good feelings that you will experience when you get to that next place. Perhaps it’s freedom, or better health, or ease of movement, or not being treated poorly by yourself or others. When we can get excited about the changes, we make it so much easier to transition.

No matter what, remember that life is a series of ups and downs and no one escapes this, so always be kind to yourself and when you need to, embrace the big leaps and trust in the process.
