A New Twist on Gratitude!

A comment I made on a Facebook Posts in regard to what I am grateful for: “When I learned that thoughts are things and I then became Empowered and FREE!”

I am sure we have all seen how people, myself included, have made posts on Facebook or on other social media platforms asking people to mention what they are grateful for that day.

Well this was the answer I gave today and I love it!

This is so true! When I learned that thoughts are things and I could use my thoughts in any way that I wanted, I was FREE! I was free to be me. I was free of the thoughts that cause me pain because I could let those ‘things’ go and choose new ones. I was free, free, free as a bird!

New Level!

I am also taking this whole gratitude thing to a new level. For example, instead of being grateful for the things and experiences in my life, which I am, I am also grateful for the things that I can do for other people!!!!

Just yesterday I posted in response to one of those types of posts that I was happy that I could bring JOY to other people. Now this way of thinking has taken my Gratitude Thinking to a whole new level!

What are you grateful for that you can do for others? What are you grateful for that you can do for the world?

Thoughts Are Tools & It’s Cool!

Thoughts Are Tools!

Thoughts are things and tools are things. Each of them can be used to build or to destroy.

When one understands this, it becomes apparent that it is best to CHOOSE thougths to help with the building of a better day or even a better moment. We can choose thoughts moment by moment and these thoughts build our life.

Thoughts are things and have a frequency. Like-minded thoughts will attract more like-minded thoughts and they will ‘build’, just like tools help to ‘build’ things like houses.

Do you want to know an easy example of like thoughts attracting more like thoughts? Okay. Think of a song you like in your head. Hear it, sing it in your mind and get in the groove…….

Now watch how that song is going to get stuck in your head!!!! You are going to keep attracting the frequency of that song because you put it in there and now it keeps attracting like-minded thoughts aka the song!

Now that is something to think about ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hope that you use your thoughts for your highest good and as always if you are struggling and need help, make sure you reach out. Sometimes we just can’t change our thoughts and we are in a dark place and that is okay. Know that help is out there. Talk to someone you trust, or your doctor or health professional.

More About YOUR Power & Using Your Image*ination

Dreams

Yesterday afternoon my honey and I were chatting and I told him about this crazy dream I had. I shared the details with him and we both laughed.

He and I both knew the people in the dream so it was extra funny. We marveled at how detailed it was. I said to Don “Yes, you just can’t make this stuff up” and we chuckled.

But the reality is we do make this stuff up! If you are a person who remembers your dreams, are you not amazed at the stuff you come up with? And it all seems so real.

Cause guess what? It is real! This is the secret to creation my friends.

Now your dream may not be real in your life but it is the same process to create whatever you want in your life.

We must image it or imagine it which is bringing an image forth and on the forefront, and then with feeling we see ourselves participating as though that image or scene has already manifested.

If we can do this in a dream while unconscious, we certainly must be able to consciously create images in our mind and apply feeling to them. It is really not that hard. I call it my workshop.

First Thing in the Morning

The first thing I do in the morning is work in my workshop aka my mind. I know that I will get more accomplished in that workshop to start my day than in any physical space!

The real ‘work’ is in the imagination. If can see see it, I can create it. If I can see it I can believe it.

And I cannot stress enough, you must use the power of Love. Love is the secret sauce. When you love what you are seeking, or where you are working, or what you are planning, or what you are creating, or the thought of your future, you attract all of the good things around that topic to you!

Love is the glue of attraction. It makes everything stick!

So I hope you keep your images clear and crisp, your feelings around them clear and crisp and strong, and that you get excited and feel love around it all, and then watch the magic happen!

Passion is the force of love exuding itself towards your desired outcome, so get really passionate okay? ๐Ÿ™‚

YOU Are The Power!

Do you really realize how powerful you are? I know it and I know how powerful I am also.  In fact, I own this power. I like it. I use it and I work with it every day!

It really is soooo simple. Use your thoughts as the tools they are and make sure when you are working in your workshop aka โ€˜your mindโ€™ you are using the proper tools.

And that would be the thoughts that you use and choose that are for your highest good and are for your best.

Also, very important, when it comes to the law of attraction, love is what attracts so you must LOVE what you are doing. Just like a bear loves honey and a bee a flowerโ€ฆ it is that loving of it that pulls it to it or draws it forth.

The Power of Faith & Trust… Oh So Good!

Faithful & Committed

As many of you know, I continually study topics around manifesting, creating, and on designing one’s ideal life.

No matter what I study, there is always an element of faith and trust that is necessary in the magical formulas available to us for creating what we want in our lives.

When we have faith or when we trust, it produces the energy of positive expectation and a belief or knowing that what we want to manifest into our lives, is indeed on its way.

I have learned to lead with trust and faith. For example, as a landlord I trust that I will find the perfect tenants for my units. As a business owner, I trust that I will help the people who most need what I have to offer.

Most of all though, I decided a long time ago to just trust that all things work out for me for my highest good and it works! The more I trust, the more everything flows!

Worry

When we worry, we attract more things to cause us worry. Worry is fear expressing itself and is not a pleasant emotion or energy.

Trust and Faith on the other hand, have energies of love and expansion and they feel GREAT!

Worry uses up our precious time and the sweetness of life.

Even anazlyzing the past is a form of worry and attracts more things to worry about now, in the present. We don’t need to figure out why things were the way they were, or why someone told us that when we were 7, or whatever. We can choose to use our free-will and not analyze or try to figure out what caused us pain and then in turn let it cause us more pain again today! Choose to let it go.

I see the time I have left on earth as a window and we know the window of time moves quickly. I personally want to have as much sweetness and as much JOY as I can in the time I have left. Therefore, I trust that things work out for me and I do my absolute best to banish fear and worry out of my life.

I consciously and with purpose use and manage my thoughts and come up with thoughts that are helping me, serving me, making me happy, etc. Thoughts are things and we can create any ones we want! We pick thoughts. Now how cool is that?

I hope you can let more trust and faith into your life and that YOU take charge of YOUR thoughts. You are the boss of YOU so make sure you are a good one. ๐Ÿ™‚

And as always, if you are struggling with anxiety or fear, make sure you reach out for help if you feel you need some. Reaching out for help when you need it is actually a sign of strength and it too has the frequency of faith and trust because you are sending out a message of positive expectation about getting the help that you need to feel better and that is a very good thing, so never be afraid to ask for help!

Don’t Invite The Nasties To Dinner!!!

You know I write a lot about this and I will continue to do so. Thoughts are things and we can CHOOSE which ones we want to focus on.

Yes, I know thoughts just randomly pop into our minds and that is okay. It is the ones we entertain that matter.

Think of it this way, if you had a dinner party and some of the guests that you invited were not suited to your way of being, or they were rude or nasty or anything that was negative. Would you keep inviting these people to your table?

NO! So why would we do it with our thoughts?

There is a magical combo that works well but it means that you have to practice self-care as well.

When you have a thought or multiple thoughts that are not serving you, recognize it, and then CHOOSE a new thought. However, with that said it is much easier to do when you are in a place of ‘feeling good’.

Do Things That Make YOU Feel Good

Therefore, do things every day that make you feel good and that show nurturing and caring for your body, mind and spirit. For example, I started my morning by reading more on the power of gratitude in my life. I am sipping on warm lemon water now and I have some peaceful and Zen type of music on.

It doesn’t matter ‘what’ you do, just do things that show you that you are sacred and loved!!!!!

When you feel better about yourself it is much easier to pivot your thoughts when those nasties arise.

So I leave you with the goal of two things today:

  1. Do MORE things for YOU today that nurture you and make you FEEL GOOD
  2. Consciously be AWARE of your thoughts and start replacing the nasties with BETTER thoughts.

Dealing With Anxious Thoughts

“You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you”. Dan Millman

You might be thinking the above statement is an impossible feat, but I encourage you to think of thoughts in another way and it might be helpful for you.

Thoughts Are Things

We often say that “thoughts are things” and it is true. So if this is indeed true and thoughts are just things just like a coffee cup is a thing, a laptop is a thing, a t-shirt is a thing, etc. etc.

So with that said, if things are things, we may have things in our lives, but we don’t become our things.

Instead we USE our things. We use the coffee cup to drink coffee, or water, or tea, or to drink whatever we decide from it.

We wear the t-shirt but we don’t become obsessed with the t-shirt. We use it for a purpose and we take it off when we want to or when we are done using it for the day.

Therefore, if we looked at thoughts more as things that we can use for what we choose, just like the coffee cup, or the t-shirt we can take them off when we don’t want to think them anymore, just like the t-shirt.

Or in kind, like the laptop we can use our thoughts to formulate sentences, paragraphs, or even entire stories just like a laptop and its programs have the power to do!!

You get the idea here. USE your thoughts (the things) for your highest good and stop using them when they are no longer serving your or causing you pain.

CHOOSE New Thoughts!

The easiest way to pivot your thoughts is to divert them to new ones…. just like things. If you were wearing a t-shirt and spilled something on it, you would go and change it!

So change your thoughts to new ones!

Don’t cry…. โ™ฅ Smile โ™ฅ

As a teacher of JOY, I am often sharing ways with others on how to shift their frequency to a more JOYful place.

Memories

One of the ways, is by using memories. Memories, just like thoughts, can be tools. Tools can empower us or dis-empower us. An example that I often use is that a hammer can build a home or destroy a home.

It is the same thing with our thoughts and memories. We can use them as catalysts for JOY or we can reflect on the pain or loss and then we continue to suffer. And I am not talking about grieving here. Grieving is important and is personal and different for everyone.

I am talking about life and how it continues to change and evolve.

Sโ™ฅmโ™ฅiโ™ฅlโ™ฅe

We can smile for the experiences we have had or for the memories and we can CHOOSE which ones we focus on and give our attention too. Why not consciously decide and choose that you will recall the ones that make you the happiest?

I know it is not always easy, but the more we can become an active participant in deciding what thoughts or memories we allow to run through our mind, the more control we have of our frequency.

And I don’t know about you, but I much prefer happy thoughts, memories and more JOY! And this is not to say that I have not had many, many painful experiences, I just choose which ones I give me energy and attention to. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you too choose the ones that make you smile. ๐Ÿ™‚

Moving Away From Guilt & Shame

I love the work of Christie Marie Sheldon and I apply it to my own life on a daily basis. Of course, some days are easier than others. ๐Ÿ™‚

Guilt & Shame

I have been a person who my entire life, has worked at moving away from guilt and shame. Guilt and shame can come in many forms. Even inadequacy can make one feel guilty or shameful.

I decided to write about this today to help us all to become more aware of our emotions and how they affect us.

For exampe, in his book “Power Verses Force”, Dr. David Hawkins has an emotional chart that shows the calibration of energy when it comes to emotions. It is referred to as a ‘Scale of Consciousness’. On this scale, guilt and shame are at the very bottom of the scale. What is on the top? Enlightenment and under that Peace, JOY, and Love.

So the lowest is Shame and the highest is Enlightenement.

When we understand that emotions can be scaled and that the higher that we vibrate on that scale, the more we will attract into our lives positive experiences and feelings, the more important it becomes to actively and purposely move ourselves up the scale.

One of the easiest ways to shift your frequency and to move up the scale is to find gratitude in things. I always try to start my day in gratitude and today was no exception. Here is a picture of my morning. This is Bella, my cat, lying on my chest, purring away while I laid in bed and enJOYed the start of my day.

Not only did I enJOY Bella’s cuddles but I fed my mind its morning breakfast by listening to some of the work of Christie Marie which inspired me to write this blog post.

My pretty Calico cat named Bella lying on my chest on the wake of a beautiful and glorious new day here on earth.

It is always important to remember that “Thoughts are Things”. This is the core concept of my Infinite Possibilties work that I share with students and clients. It is very important to understand this and to use your thoughts as tools to enhance your life rather than to be a detriment to your happiness and well-being.

The best thoughts you can have to heal and transform are loving thoughts. Gratitude is a loving thought. Blessing something is a very high vibration and a loving thought. By thinking kind thoughts of both yourself and others, you can transform your world and the lives of others, and in turn the entire planet.

Become a master of your thoughts and be sure to feed your mind on a daily basis. By feeding your mind positive and uplifting information you also change your frequency and feed your soul.

Picture Perfect

We are powerful beings and we are master creators. Whether you believe you are a master creator or not, YOU ARE!

We create our reality through our thoughts about ourselves, our thoughts about life, our thoughts about who we are and if we believe we are lovable or not, and on and on it goes.

What’s The Secret?

The secret is to picture the way you want things to be. This my friends is part of the creative process. When you ‘see’ things in ways that are for your highest good, you raise your frequency and you start to attract to you things that ARE for your highest good.

Today I re-listened to a Youtube interview video I did last year with Jean Ketchum, from the Aging But Dangerous group. Jean was interviewing me about my work as a Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer & Coach. I have to admit, listening to that video today inspired me. ๐Ÿ™‚ LOL

I was reminded about how thoughts are things and how we create our realities and also how that it does not matter where we are at in life, or how old we are, we have the rest of our lives to make the best of it and it starts right now. Today is the best day of our lives because it is the one that we are in.

We also talked in this video about how important a positive mindset is for our health and more goodies that I am sure you will ๐‘’๐“ƒ๐’ฅโ€๐’ด. Jean shares some great insight and stories about her Dad who lived to be 105.
