Don’t Invite The Nasties To Dinner!!!

You know I write a lot about this and I will continue to do so. Thoughts are things and we can CHOOSE which ones we want to focus on.

Yes, I know thoughts just randomly pop into our minds and that is okay. It is the ones we entertain that matter.

Think of it this way, if you had a dinner party and some of the guests that you invited were not suited to your way of being, or they were rude or nasty or anything that was negative. Would you keep inviting these people to your table?

NO! So why would we do it with our thoughts?

There is a magical combo that works well but it means that you have to practice self-care as well.

When you have a thought or multiple thoughts that are not serving you, recognize it, and then CHOOSE a new thought. However, with that said it is much easier to do when you are in a place of ‘feeling good’.

Do Things That Make YOU Feel Good

Therefore, do things every day that make you feel good and that show nurturing and caring for your body, mind and spirit. For example, I started my morning by reading more on the power of gratitude in my life. I am sipping on warm lemon water now and I have some peaceful and Zen type of music on.

It doesn’t matter ‘what’ you do, just do things that show you that you are sacred and loved!!!!!

When you feel better about yourself it is much easier to pivot your thoughts when those nasties arise.

So I leave you with the goal of two things today:

  1. Do MORE things for YOU today that nurture you and make you FEEL GOOD
  2. Consciously be AWARE of your thoughts and start replacing the nasties with BETTER thoughts.

Dealing With Anxious Thoughts

“You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you”. Dan Millman

You might be thinking the above statement is an impossible feat, but I encourage you to think of thoughts in another way and it might be helpful for you.

Thoughts Are Things

We often say that “thoughts are things” and it is true. So if this is indeed true and thoughts are just things just like a coffee cup is a thing, a laptop is a thing, a t-shirt is a thing, etc. etc.

So with that said, if things are things, we may have things in our lives, but we don’t become our things.

Instead we USE our things. We use the coffee cup to drink coffee, or water, or tea, or to drink whatever we decide from it.

We wear the t-shirt but we don’t become obsessed with the t-shirt. We use it for a purpose and we take it off when we want to or when we are done using it for the day.

Therefore, if we looked at thoughts more as things that we can use for what we choose, just like the coffee cup, or the t-shirt we can take them off when we don’t want to think them anymore, just like the t-shirt.

Or in kind, like the laptop we can use our thoughts to formulate sentences, paragraphs, or even entire stories just like a laptop and its programs have the power to do!!

You get the idea here. USE your thoughts (the things) for your highest good and stop using them when they are no longer serving your or causing you pain.

CHOOSE New Thoughts!

The easiest way to pivot your thoughts is to divert them to new ones…. just like things. If you were wearing a t-shirt and spilled something on it, you would go and change it!

So change your thoughts to new ones!

Don’t cry…. โ™ฅ Smile โ™ฅ

As a teacher of JOY, I am often sharing ways with others on how to shift their frequency to a more JOYful place.

Memories

One of the ways, is by using memories. Memories, just like thoughts, can be tools. Tools can empower us or dis-empower us. An example that I often use is that a hammer can build a home or destroy a home.

It is the same thing with our thoughts and memories. We can use them as catalysts for JOY or we can reflect on the pain or loss and then we continue to suffer. And I am not talking about grieving here. Grieving is important and is personal and different for everyone.

I am talking about life and how it continues to change and evolve.

Sโ™ฅmโ™ฅiโ™ฅlโ™ฅe

We can smile for the experiences we have had or for the memories and we can CHOOSE which ones we focus on and give our attention too. Why not consciously decide and choose that you will recall the ones that make you the happiest?

I know it is not always easy, but the more we can become an active participant in deciding what thoughts or memories we allow to run through our mind, the more control we have of our frequency.

And I don’t know about you, but I much prefer happy thoughts, memories and more JOY! And this is not to say that I have not had many, many painful experiences, I just choose which ones I give me energy and attention to. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you too choose the ones that make you smile. ๐Ÿ™‚

Moving Away From Guilt & Shame

I love the work of Christie Marie Sheldon and I apply it to my own life on a daily basis. Of course, some days are easier than others. ๐Ÿ™‚

Guilt & Shame

I have been a person who my entire life, has worked at moving away from guilt and shame. Guilt and shame can come in many forms. Even inadequacy can make one feel guilty or shameful.

I decided to write about this today to help us all to become more aware of our emotions and how they affect us.

For exampe, in his book “Power Verses Force”, Dr. David Hawkins has an emotional chart that shows the calibration of energy when it comes to emotions. It is referred to as a ‘Scale of Consciousness’. On this scale, guilt and shame are at the very bottom of the scale. What is on the top? Enlightenment and under that Peace, JOY, and Love.

So the lowest is Shame and the highest is Enlightenement.

When we understand that emotions can be scaled and that the higher that we vibrate on that scale, the more we will attract into our lives positive experiences and feelings, the more important it becomes to actively and purposely move ourselves up the scale.

One of the easiest ways to shift your frequency and to move up the scale is to find gratitude in things. I always try to start my day in gratitude and today was no exception. Here is a picture of my morning. This is Bella, my cat, lying on my chest, purring away while I laid in bed and enJOYed the start of my day.

Not only did I enJOY Bella’s cuddles but I fed my mind its morning breakfast by listening to some of the work of Christie Marie which inspired me to write this blog post.

My pretty Calico cat named Bella lying on my chest on the wake of a beautiful and glorious new day here on earth.

It is always important to remember that “Thoughts are Things”. This is the core concept of my Infinite Possibilties work that I share with students and clients. It is very important to understand this and to use your thoughts as tools to enhance your life rather than to be a detriment to your happiness and well-being.

The best thoughts you can have to heal and transform are loving thoughts. Gratitude is a loving thought. Blessing something is a very high vibration and a loving thought. By thinking kind thoughts of both yourself and others, you can transform your world and the lives of others, and in turn the entire planet.

Become a master of your thoughts and be sure to feed your mind on a daily basis. By feeding your mind positive and uplifting information you also change your frequency and feed your soul.

Picture Perfect

We are powerful beings and we are master creators. Whether you believe you are a master creator or not, YOU ARE!

We create our reality through our thoughts about ourselves, our thoughts about life, our thoughts about who we are and if we believe we are lovable or not, and on and on it goes.

What’s The Secret?

The secret is to picture the way you want things to be. This my friends is part of the creative process. When you ‘see’ things in ways that are for your highest good, you raise your frequency and you start to attract to you things that ARE for your highest good.

Today I re-listened to a Youtube interview video I did last year with Jean Ketchum, from the Aging But Dangerous group. Jean was interviewing me about my work as a Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer & Coach. I have to admit, listening to that video today inspired me. ๐Ÿ™‚ LOL

I was reminded about how thoughts are things and how we create our realities and also how that it does not matter where we are at in life, or how old we are, we have the rest of our lives to make the best of it and it starts right now. Today is the best day of our lives because it is the one that we are in.

We also talked in this video about how important a positive mindset is for our health and more goodies that I am sure you will ๐‘’๐“ƒ๐’ฅโ€๐’ด. Jean shares some great insight and stories about her Dad who lived to be 105.

Tap Into Your SUPERPOWERS!

You are stronger than you think and you are bigger and better than you realize.

I am person who studies every day upon arising and throughout the day as well. I love learning about the power of our sub-conscious and super-conscious mind. Unfortunately most people let their conscious mind run the show.

The secret to having more in life and allowing in Infinite Possibilities is by using and tapping into controlling and commanding the other minds that we all have access to. These are powerful tools for us to use. They are your SUPER POWERS.

For example if you go to bed at night reflecting on how rotten your day was and dreading tomorrow, guess what happens? Your sub-conscious mind toils all night long in preparation for tomorrow to bring you exactly what it thinks you want because you declared it! And then you wonder why things just keep getting worse.

The sub-conscious mind does not have any reality. It is merely a force, a source, a powerful command center that takes orders from YOU!

I will highlight a few key points to help with using this superpower.

Thoughts are things. Use them wisely. Monitor your thoughts and CHOOSE your thoughts. Choose thoughts that support your current plan or intention. For example: Writing blog posts comes easily to me and I enJOY writing immensely. (Supportive Thought)

Check in on what you BELIEVE. Question your beliefs. Do they serve you? Are they supportive beliefs? Or do they limit you in your life? Where did they come from? Does it really matter where they came from? How about you just work on replacing them with ones that DO serve you for your highest good? If you need help with that, you might consider Life Coaching or attending an Infinite Possibilities class where we spend an entire class working on Beliefs.

Belief example: I may not have all the answers or knowledge for this project right now but I am sure I can find them and things will go smoothly. I believe I am capable of learning. (Supportive Belief)

Visualization. Become a master visualizer. Wayne Dyer wrote a whole book on this and the title says it all. “Seeing Is Believing”. Until you ‘see’ something, you will never believe it or realize it …. aka ‘make it real’. See yourself exactly how you wish to be, or be surrounded by, travelling to, living in, etc. Here is the KEY for this one. You must FEEL what it would feel like in every one of those scenarios that you visualize. There lies the magic!

Take a good look at this picture. Use it as a visual imagery to picture the inner ball as your sub-conscious and super-conscious mind as the command center and the outside halos as your creations and manifestations. Keep in mind that the more you visualize the stronger the magnet becomes and the thicker and denser the result is. This is why we want a vortex of positive results spiraling in our creative vortex. May the force be with you. ๐Ÿ™‚

How Miraculous!!!!!!

Today, while organizing some things, I dropped a packet of seeds and they fell onto a table. I think they are zucchini seeds. I marveled at how these tiny, tiny, seeds become gorgeous zucchinis. In that moment I reflected on the miracle of all living things and that we too come from a tiny, tiny, egg that meets a tiny, tiny, sperm. All of this is miraculous to me!

I also thought about how the seeds produce and they make more seeds to recreate the miracle. WOW! I hadn’t really pondered on that before in such a way and I opened myself up to the profoundness of it.

It got me thinking…… this is like our ideas and our dreams. If we have ideas (seeds) but we don’t plant them, they die and they do not grow and they do not reproduce. This is huge. So then how important is it to nurture your ideas, wants and desires? Super important! These seeds can create worlds but we need to plant them so they continue to give.

I also thought about the biblical saying about the faith of a mustard seed so I googled and there are a few but this one wowed me: ” “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES.

This one kind of brings it all home for me. If we can produce life from a tiny, tiny, seed and life is a miracle so be it when we ‘sow it in our field’ or our mind! If we can have the faith of a tiny, tiny, mustard seed, which is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree (larger than life) and then the birds can nest in it’s branches …… the seed feeds the cycle of life and rebirth. WOW!

I have a whole new respect for the power of a tiny, tiny, seed. I will remind myself that my thoughts are tiny, tiny, seeds that can grow to huge proportions and that can do great things in the world! I will use them wisely and I will have faith in the power of tiny, tiny, seeds. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure you plants seeds that you want to grow. Let’s not die with our seeds still in us, shall we? ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Gardening!

Recipe For Life, thoughts are things

An Interesting Thing About Recipes

This thought hit me this morning.

As a person who has a lot of cookbooks, I was thinking how I get inspired by them but you end up going back to the same recipes or go-to foods more often than not.

And then it hit me! This is like our thoughts and habits. Our brains work in patterns, repetition, and it always likes the familiar. This is why it is so easy to run trains of thoughts that may or may not serve us.

One thought attracts another thought and once you start you are on a roll. So thoughts are like recipes. We use the same ingredients (familiar thoughts) and we run our programs (the recipes.)

Now the question becomes is your thought recipe serving you or disempowering you? Are you running and making good recipes or are they self destructive recipes, kind of like unhealthy food? ๐Ÿ™‚

So if you catch yourself using thought patterns that are not for your highest good, the secret is to disrupt the brain pattern and switch to a new recipe. One technique that I use is my very own quote “I control my thoughts, they don’t control me”. I have developed a habit of catching my thoughts and then switching them. The more you do it the easiest it gets. These new thoughts start to become your go-to recipes… your new recipes. ๐Ÿ™‚

And the good news is just like when you find or develop a new recipe you love, you love it! Same with thought recipes, once you start using thought patterns that are good for you, it feels great and you want to use them more! Woo hoo!

Mel Robbins, thoughts are things

Reset Your Mindset

Want to change your life for the better immediately? There is a way to do this that makes perfect sense and ties in with the science of the brain.

This morning I listened twice to a Youtube video by Mel Robbins that is AMAZING. It’s a keeper for sure! I listened the first time just to listen, and the second time I took copious notes because I’m all about studying and applying things in my life that are going to make things run smoother and make me happier. Oh ya, bring on the JOY for me!

I also, listen and take notes for the students that I teach through my Infinite Possibilities workshops and the sharing I do via blogging like this and through my social media channels.

I WANT to make a difference in the world and to most of all EMPOWER people to have better lives by controlling their thoughts and leveraging their beliefs. My favorite quote by me is “I control my thoughts, they don’t control me!” And this quote ties in perfectly with the information in this video. I will share the link at the end of this blog post so you can watch it too and start changing for the better immediately!

Mel talks about how there are two modes we use with our thinking: Default or Autopilot and my favorite which is Deliberate Thinking! Deliberate thinking is what we want to master. We need to basically decode and change the neuro pathways and programs that we have created through the programming of our past. This programming often comes from others and then we attach to it and rethink it over and over again and it is now our default program. But the good news is we can change these programs or ways of thinking and switch to deliberate thinking!

I am not going to say anymore, I will just recommend that you watch this 10 minute video and use it to change your life for the better starting RIGHT NOW!!! I will be saving this video for future use for myself and anyone who I can help by sharing it with them.
