Be The Boss of Your Thoughts!
Be a thought thinker and you will be in charge of your own life! Thoughts are tools for us to use as we will.
Thoughts are the magic wands of the creative workshop in our minds! Thoughts are to be honed and crafted for the task at hand.
If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts, change them!
Step 1 is to identify that the thoughts that you are thinking are not making you feel good.
Step 2 is to declare that you realize and recognize that this is so.
Step 3 is to declare that you wish to choose new thoughts and then do it.
For example, maybe you think that the people in your life are not supporting you and it makes you feel unloved and unworthy. Change your thoughts to supporting thoughts so that you start supporting yourself first! ie. “I am not sure that the people in my life are really intentionally trying not to support me, maybe they are preoccupied with their own battles, but either way I am going to support me right now and in this moment! And I will start by telling a new story about what I think is happening and my story or thoughts around this go like this….. and then tell a new and improved version that is positive and becomes an asset to you, not a detriment.
For example maybe something like this. “I understand that everyone in life is going through stuff right now. I am not the only one and I can’t control the actions of others but I can control my own. So with that said today I am going to support and love myself a little more. Hey, maybe I will go for a walk and show myself that I do care about my health and well-being. 🙂
The main point in all of this is that you consciously choose and craft your thoughts around those things that especially are causing you pain first and foremost. We want to move away from pain and fear so that we can start attracting positive thoughts and feelings about our life and in turn thrive rather than just survive.
