Visualizing is a key to manifestation and to creating what you want in life.
As a Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer and Coach, I have had the pleasure of training under Mike Dooley. Mike is a New York Times Bestselling author, speaker, and was in the movie “The Secret”.
Here is one of Mike’s examples on how to visualize:
“When you are visualizing, when you’ve got that picture playing out in your mind, always and only dwell on the end result.”
Here’s an example:
Look at the back of your hands, right now. Really look at the back of your hands: the color of your skin, the freckles, the blood vessels, the rings, the fingernails. Take in all those details. Right before you close your eyes, see those hands, your fingers, wrapping around the steering wheel of your brand new car.” Mike Dooley
From Me Now:
The best thing to do when you are visualizing is to do it with feeling. Feel how you would feel wrapping those fingers around the steering wheel. Feel the leather or texture of the steering wheel. Feel how glorious it feels to be taking your first spin in the vehicle of your dreams.
Or maybe your dream is to take a dream vacation or to buy a lake home. Feel how it feels to dip your toes into the water or twinkle your toes in the sandy beach.
The point is that the more you can ‘see’ and ‘feel’ the end result, the easier your manifesting will be to create what you want in life. And never forget you can manifest small or large things using the same technique.
For example, maybe today you want to just have a happy family conversation that is light -hearted at the family dinner table. Feel how that would feel. See the smiling faces of your family members. See yourself conversing with them and all of you enJOYing it.
This is powerful stuff folks. I hope you take this as serious as I do. I have been manifesting for years and I can tell you that once you get into the groove of this, it works like magic!
There are times in life when we need more strength than at other times. There are moments in life when we need support. There are times in life when we feel our soul is struggling.
When we are in these challenging times in life, we are usually in a frequency of fear and fear unfortunately, can choke out or dim our light.
I would like to share a poem today written by my honey just four days ago.
Love Is Light, Fear Is Darkness
Life is meant to be lived.
LIVE means to be ALIVE!
You are either alive or dead.
The opposite of life is death.
You can not serve two opposites.
You are either loving the light or fearing the darkness.
May 24, 2002
I love Don’s poem because it reminds me to go for the light and to live in Ĺⓞ𝓥乇. Fear does not serve us well and it does not support us in living life to our fullest, and in the most alive way. Fear is also not conducive to our immune system.
I choose to be ALIVE. What about you? 🙂
Interesting Blooper: When I was typing “I choose to be ALIVE” I had a typo and wrote instead “I choose to be ALOVE”. Wow! I thought it was an awesome typo. 🙂
Have a great day everyone and go forth in LOVE… be ALOVE won’t ya?
We are powerful beings and we are master creators. Whether you believe you are a master creator or not, YOU ARE!
We create our reality through our thoughts about ourselves, our thoughts about life, our thoughts about who we are and if we believe we are lovable or not, and on and on it goes.
What’s The Secret?
The secret is to picture the way you want things to be. This my friends is part of the creative process. When you ‘see’ things in ways that are for your highest good, you raise your frequency and you start to attract to you things that ARE for your highest good.
Today I re-listened to a Youtube interview video I did last year with Jean Ketchum, from the Aging But Dangerous group. Jean was interviewing me about my work as a Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer & Coach. I have to admit, listening to that video today inspired me. 🙂 LOL
I was reminded about how thoughts are things and how we create our realities and also how that it does not matter where we are at in life, or how old we are, we have the rest of our lives to make the best of it and it starts right now. Today is the best day of our lives because it is the one that we are in.
We also talked in this video about how important a positive mindset is for our health and more goodies that I am sure you will 𝑒𝓃𝒥❀𝒴. Jean shares some great insight and stories about her Dad who lived to be 105.

The older I get, the more I tap into my own power and personal empowerment. We are energetic beings and bodies, and it is wise to understand this.
When we feel empowered, we feel charged and ‘full of life’. When we are experiencing disempowerment we feel void of life force and of energetic strength.
Ways We Might Disempower Ourselves
What are some things or ways that people disempower themselves?
There are many but a few that come to mind are:
Not Going Within For Answers
This is one of the most common ways. People do not listen to their inner guidance and to their intuition. When you are not tapped in and tuned in to your inner guidance system, it is easier to fall prey to the beliefs and conditioning of the masses, which are not always in alignment with your higher self or with what is true for YOU.
Putting Too Much Emphasis on The Opinions of Others
We all have talents, skills and ideas. As a Life Coach I always try to teach my coaching clients to go within and to find their answers, desires, wants, and to identify the needs that they need to have met. This is what coaching is all about, helping clients to come to their own conclusions and to guide them to use their personal power and wisdom to move forward in their life.
What I often see is that people lose their power by placing too much weight in and on the opinions of others.
For example, “My Doctor said” or “My Accountant said” or “My friend Mary said she heard on the news and blah blah blah”…. I am in no way knocking the wisdom and guidance of professionals or any person on this earth, however, I believe in order to be personally empowered, one must have balance.
For example, I take the guidance from my dentist, accountant, lawyer, medical professional, media, friends, etc. but I use my own discernment also and ultimately come up with my own plan of action based on their guidance and their wisdom and in combination with my wisdom as well.
I don’t blindly forge ahead without asking my questions, maybe even doing some research on my own or asking for second, third and even fourth opinions. And then I use all of the information that I have received and I go within to my higher self and make my formulations which is also based on my feelings. Those are important too. Does this feel right for me? Does the advice of this particular person feel right for me and this particular situation?
The minute I hear someone say “My So and So said… you Fill in The Blank..” the hairs on the back of my neck go up and I think “yes, but what do YOU think, feel and desire?” What feels right for you?
I am going to give you one of my real-life examples. I have shared this simple example with clients over the years, and it gets the point across. Here it is:
I have been going to the same dentist office for my whole life. When I was young and through most of my adult life, I just went to the office and had everything done that this particular office did when I went for a check-up. Speed ahead to now in my life…
I tell them what I want to be done. For example, at this point in my life, I do not choose to have fluoride treatments so I do not get them. I decide, along with their recommendations of course, if it is an appropriate time for me to have an x-ray or not. If I feel it is in the best interest for my oral health at this time, I may say yes but I also decline them more often than not.
The point is, is that I decide what way I want to go and I am the customer who is paying so I very much have a right to decide what is best for me. This my friends is an example of being personally empowered to make choices that you believe are in alignment with YOUR best interests based on a combination of guidance from others and your own input.
And as for people in roles of giving advice and counsel, I think the most beautiful of these people, best help their clients by ‘guiding them to decisions’ and helping their clients to feel empowered and informed.
Not Loving Yourself
This is one of the biggest ways that we disempower ourselves. We don’t show ourselves the love that we are and that we deserve. We need to love every part of ourselves. Our ego, intellect, body, spirit, and soul. If we are not our own best friends, then who are we? Take some time to think about this deeply. It is so important for us to love ourselves.
And it does not matter about where we came from or what was done to us. We can choose to love ourselves. Sometimes just being free to know that is is a choice, helps us to start us on the path to more self-love.
I have written several posts on self-love that you might find helpful. Here is the link
Today my daughter Sivanna, who is now 14, shared with me a paragraph she wrote for one of her online class assignments.
Aria is 4 and is Sivanna’s great niece.
This is what Sivanna had to say to the question “What is something that always puts a file on your face?”
“Something that always puts a smile on my face is Aria. Aria is my 4 year old great niece. Every time I see her, her face lights up. Whenever she sees me she has a huge smile on her face and runs up to me and gives me a big hug. That always makes me smile. She is always so cute and whatever she does makes me smile. Whether the way she talks or when she dances, or how she is so sweet and shares with me. Everything she does makes me smile and I love her. But I can’t see her right now because of quarantine.”
♥ I thought this was so sweet. ♥
While I was looking for Aria’s picture for this blog post, I found one of when my Sivanna Rose was little. So cute too!
“Hugs can do great amounts of good, especially for children.”
So I am a very, very, intuitive person. I think we all are and if we embrace our intuition and work with it, we can have beautiful results.
So, with that being said, I am going to share something with you all here. Last night was considered one of the peak nights for the recent meteor showers, along with an amazing moon. And…………..
I intuitively know that something shifted here on planet earth. Today I am hearing of all kinds of great news stories like people receiving money that they had been waiting on, businesses planning for their reopening, people experiencing optimism, birds chirping and singing their glorious songs, new HOPE, people enthusiastic for the new versions of themselves that they are creating thanks to quarantine, new ideas, new creativity and more!
I just had to share this 𝒥🌺𝒴 with you today because I know there have been and are challenging times for many of us at this time. So when I hear and more importantly when I FEEL this shift happening, I want to shout it from the mountain tops.
I hope that you too feel this new energy and that you get excited about it as well. 🙂
Blessings to all.
I took this picture last night on Lake Superior, in Canada. I am not sure if that is a meteor trail or train or whatever it might be called, but I love the picture regardless.
I think most of us spend a lot of our life trying to let go of fears. Whether they are fears of inadequacy or fear on the unknown, fears are very much a part of our life.
When I think of ‘life’, I think of creation and expansion. I think of freedom. I think of choice. I think of living fearlessly. 🙂
The more we can choose to truly ‘live’ our lives, the more we can choose the freedom to be who we are in all our Glory and to live without fear.
One of the ways to let go of fear, is to focus on the JOYS of life, rather than the fears. For example if you have a passion for something but fear stop you, learn to emphasize the JOYS rather than the fears.
For example, if you have a fear of public speaking or for speaking your truth in general, focus on how passionate you are about your subject. Get excited about the subject matter rather than focusing on the delivery of the subject matter. When you do this, you will naturally find it easier to share your truth or your words or your story because you take the attention off of merely delivering the info and you become excited about the information itself.
When we get caught up obsessing on the fears, we miss the whole point of what we were passionate about.
The more we can overcome our fears, the faster we accelerate at achieving the lives of our dreams.
If you need help conquering fear, here are some links to previous posts I have done on living fearlessly.
