Gratitude, Joy

True Joy!

joy cardThis year, my spouse Don and I, and our daughter Sivanna, got together with Don’s kids, grandkids and their spouses, great grandkids, and Joyce, the beautiful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother of all of these beautiful people, for an early Christmas celebration.

I feel very grateful to be a part of this extended family and thought I would take a minute to write about my JOY. This card from Don’s two sons and their families sums it up quite well. “Christmas is about believing in miracles and being a blessing, reviving our spirits and celebrating our JOY… Christmas is about remembering all the wonderful things in life, like the people who mean so much to us, people like you.”

I thought this was a beautiful card with a beautiful message and it will be treasured. I must mention that they also got us a great present that made me jump for JOY!

A kajak for our new place on the lake. I was so excited about this. 🙂 I can see so much JOY to be had by all as we use this and enjoy the beauty of nature and our beautiful surroundings.

I encourage  all of us to read the words from this greeting card and to believe in Miracles, to be a Blessing and revive our spirits now and always. How do we do this? We do this by celebrating our JOY and by counting our blessings and that includes the people in our lives that Love us and that we Love back. Thank you to our beautiful family for the blessing of being together and celebrating our JOY together this holiday season.
